Trump warns Netanyahu: 'You'll be on your own' if attacks on Iran continue
U.S. President Donald Trump directly warned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a phone call that Washington would not provide military backing if attacks on Iran continue. The statement came as the fragile U.S. and Qatar-brokered ceasefire was once again being tested.

Al Jazeera reported that Trump told Netanyahu in a roughly 40-minute call on Tuesday morning that "American military resources would not be used in any new attack on Iran." White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said the call had been "extremely clear and direct."
The Israeli Prime Minister's Office said in a brief statement only that "assessments between the parties are continuing." Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Tehran would "not resort to the military response option" if the ceasefire holds. Qatar's Foreign Ministry said third parties were being "kept in continuous contact."
EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Kaja Kallas said in a Brussels briefing that "if this situation is not contained, the regional consequences could be very wide." The UN Secretary-General called for an emergency Security Council session. This article is not investment advice.
