Nvidia posted quarterly revenue of $35.1 billion, comfortably ahead of the $33.2 billion analyst consensus. Data-centre segment sales jumped 112% year-on-year to $30.8 billion.

Demand for AI infrastructure remains robust; CEO Jensen Huang said demand for the new Blackwell chips is currently exceeding supply. Shares rose 4% in after-hours trading following the release.

Guidance for next quarter came in at $37.5 billion, above the Street's estimates. Semiconductor peers AMD and Marvell also traded higher on the read-across.
