UN aid convoy hit by drone strikes in Ukraine's Kherson
A United Nations convoy delivering aid to the Ukrainian city of Kherson was hit twice by drones along the route. UN officials said the strikes have significantly disrupted humanitarian operations in the area.

A United Nations aid convoy heading into the city of Kherson was hit twice by drones along its route, damaging vehicles and aid supplies. The UN office said the trucks were clearly marked with the organisation's emblem and should be protected under international humanitarian law.
Ukrainian authorities said no one was killed but that two UN staff members sustained minor injuries. The convoy was carrying food, medicine and emergency energy equipment for residents in the wider region. Other humanitarian operations in the area were briefly suspended after the strikes for security checks.
The UN said it plans to refer the incident to international mechanisms for independent investigation. European Union officials condemned the strikes and renewed their call for sustained support to Ukraine. The attacks have once again highlighted the vulnerability of humanitarian corridors as winter approaches and civilian needs continue to rise.
