Drone strikes and abuse allegations rock Sudan's El-Obeid as conflict intensifies over the city

In response, the RSF has increased its drone strikes on El Obeid, while hundreds of thousands of people remain stuck in the city.

In response, the RSF has increased its drone strikes on El Obeid. Hundreds of thousands of civilians remain trapped in the city, with humanitarian conditions reported to be deteriorating.
The fighting marks a new escalation on one of the most critical fronts of Sudan's civil war. International aid organizations warn that access to besieged areas remains severely restricted.
