US Tariff Update Expands Argentina's Zero-Duty Export Lines to 2,212
A new US tariff scheme that took effect on Friday raised to 2,212 the number of Argentine tariff lines eligible for duty-free entry into the American market. The increase adds 537 lines to the 1,675 already covered under the Reciprocal Trade and Investment Agreement (ARTI) signed in Washington on February 5, following a review by the Office of the US Trade Representative.

The additional 537 lines were added following a USTR review, building on the framework established by the Reciprocal Trade and Investment Agreement (ARTI), which Argentina and the United States signed in Washington on February 5. The agreement forms part of broader efforts to deepen bilateral trade ties.
The expanded duty-free access is expected to benefit a wider range of Argentine exporters, from agricultural producers to manufacturers, by lowering costs for goods sold into the US market. Officials in Buenos Aires have framed the update as a tangible early result of the trade pact.
