Lebanon says 13 people, including two paramedics, killed in Israeli strikes
Lebanon's Ministry of Health said 13 people, including two paramedics, were killed in the latest Israeli air strikes in southern Lebanon. Targets included a road convoy.

According to Lebanon's Ministry of Health, a wave of strikes that began late on Wednesday hit six different villages. An ambulance convoy on the main highway about 20 kilometres from Beirut was also targeted.
The Israel Defense Forces said the strikes targeted underground Hezbollah depots. The Lebanese army said it had restricted civilian movement in the area and granted international monitors safe passage.
The UN Humanitarian Coordinator warned that strikes against medical personnel could constitute a violation of international humanitarian law. Hezbollah said it had tightened its deployments along the border in the wake of the incident. The Lebanese prime minister called for an emergency session of the UN Security Council.
