Borsa Istanbul Closes at Record High
Turkey's BIST 100 index closed the session up 0.47% at a record high of 15,133.54 points. Banking and industrial shares led the late-session buying.

Turkey's BIST 100 index ended the day up 0.47% at a record close of 15,133.54 points, according to TRT Haber Ekonomi. Trading volume exceeded 130 billion lira, with banking and industrial sub-indices leading the late-session gains.
Foreign investor flows turned modestly positive on the first trading day of the week. Analysts said the market traded in balanced fashion ahead of the central bank's quarterly inflation report due Thursday, which is expected to set the tone for the rest of the second quarter.
Global geopolitical tensions kept volatility elevated elsewhere, while the Turkish lira held in a narrow range against the dollar. Banking shares posted gains of more than 8% over the past week, taking BIST's year-to-date returns above 35%. Investors are now focused on the inflation report and any subsequent rate guidance.
