Broadcast on CCTV on Sunday, the program said the "intelligent strike planning system" was designed to help commanders and pilots by prioritizing targets, coordinating attack waves and allocating tasks to units.
The documentary said the system had been used multiple times, though it gave no detail on which exercises or operations it was deployed in. The rare disclosure offers insight into Beijing's efforts to integrate artificial intelligence into military decision-making.
