Turkey's central bank (TCMB) released its May Market Participants Survey. According to Anadolu Ajansı, the year-ahead annual consumer inflation expectation eased slightly from the April reading. The end-of-year inflation projection was broadly unchanged.
The survey also updated policy-rate expectations. Participants continue to expect a measured rate cut from the central bank in the next three months. The end-of-month exchange rate projection was revised slightly higher compared with April.
On the growth side, this year's GDP projection edged up. TCMB published the full survey on its website. Investors will track these signals ahead of next week's April budget data and June's policy meeting at the central bank.
