Anthropic Targets $900 Billion Valuation in New Funding Round
Anthropic is in talks for a new funding round at roughly a $900 billion valuation, Bloomberg reported. The deal would cement the Claude maker among the most valuable private companies on record. It comes as investors keep committing record capital to AI infrastructure.

Anthropic is in advanced talks for a new funding round that would value the AI company at roughly $900 billion, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the discussions. The figure marks a sharp jump from the $350 billion valuation it secured earlier this year.
The talks come as OpenAI faces a high-profile Delaware trial brought by Elon Musk over the lab's pivot away from its non-profit roots. Investors increasingly see Anthropic, maker of the Claude family of models, as a top-tier alternative for enterprise AI deployments.
Much of the new capital is earmarked to fund multi-year compute commitments with Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud, both of which serve as Anthropic's primary training and inference partners. The company has said its enterprise API revenue has grown rapidly through the first half of 2026.
