Brazil's airlines post $830M profit in 2025 as passenger traffic hits record
Brazil's airlines posted a combined net profit of 4.3 billion reais ($830 million) in 2025, according to regulator Anac. Domestic traffic passed 100 million for the first time, reaching 101 million passengers.

According to data from Brazil's civil aviation regulator Anac, the country's airlines posted a combined net profit of 4.3 billion reais, or about $830 million, in 2025. The results reinforce the sector's recovery after the pandemic.
The domestic market carried 101 million passengers, an increase of 8.4 percent, with traffic passing the 100 million mark in a single year for the first time. According to Anac, Latam led the market with a 38.6 percent share.
Strong demand and high load factors supported carriers' profitability. As the sector closely watches fuel costs and exchange-rate swings, capacity expansion and new route plans are on the agenda for 2026.
