China's BYD overtakes Tesla to reclaim lead in global EV race
China's electric-vehicle giant BYD has once again leapfrogged Tesla to become the world's largest battery-powered carmaker, driven by surging overseas shipments. BYD moved ahead of its US rival despite an 8.2% year-on-year drop in deliveries.
