Trump Says US Will Not Allow Iran to Reach Enriched Uranium
US President Donald Trump said the United States will not allow Iran to reach its enriched-uranium stockpiles. The remarks came as Tehran prepares to respond to the US ceasefire proposal and could shape the negotiating ground in the coming days.

Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump said the facility holding enriched uranium remains under US and allied surveillance. According to Al Jazeera, Trump stressed that Tehran would 'under no conditions' be allowed to access the material.
The statement followed news that Iran had transmitted its formal reply to the US ceasefire proposal via Pakistan. Tehran had previously said that negotiating did not amount to surrender and reiterated that its nuclear programme was civilian in nature.
Diplomatic sources said Washington's tougher tone is being used as a negotiating lever at the bargaining table. In regional markets, oil prices moved only modestly after the comments, while EU governments and China are also preparing statements on the dossier.
