Embraer posts best second quarter in 16 years, led by business-jet deliveries
Brazilian planemaker Embraer delivered 65 aircraft between April and June, its best second quarter in 16 years. Deliveries rose 48% from the first quarter and 7% year on year, with business jets leading the gains.

Brazilian planemaker Embraer reported its strongest second quarter in 16 years, delivering 65 aircraft between April and June. The New York-listed company (NYSE: ERJ) lifted deliveries 48% from the first quarter and 7% from a year earlier.
The executive-jet segment led the growth, as a recovery in global demand allowed the manufacturer to step up its delivery pace over the period.
Embraer operates across commercial aviation, business jets and defence. Investors will watch how far the strong second-quarter deliveries carry the company toward its full-year targets, and whether the momentum in business jets can be sustained.
