SpaceX IPO prospectus could land as soon as next week, sources say
Elon Musk's SpaceX could file its initial public offering prospectus as soon as next week, sources told CNBC. The listing would be one of the largest tech IPOs of the decade if it goes through.

SpaceX could file its initial public offering prospectus with the Securities and Exchange Commission as soon as next week, sources told CNBC. The company is reportedly in the final stages of preparing its S-1 filing, with the underwriter syndicate putting the finishing touches on the deal.
If it proceeds, the listing would rank among the largest technology IPOs of the past decade. SpaceX was most recently valued at around $350 billion in the private market. Its Starlink satellite internet unit and a growing book of government contracts have driven rapid revenue growth.
Musk has long avoided committing to a firm timeline. Listing SpaceX as the parent rather than spinning out Starlink would increase financial transparency for the satellite business and give investors direct exposure to space infrastructure. Shares of suppliers and rival satellite operators traded volatility after the report.
