Russia halts Crimea fuel sales after major Ukrainian strikes kill four
Ukraine launched one of its largest attacks on Russian-occupied Crimea on Sunday, targeting military and energy facilities. Moscow-backed authorities said the strikes killed at least four people and wounded dozens. Fuel sales at Crimean petrol stations have been suspended in the wake of the attack.

According to Moscow-backed authorities reported by France 24, Ukraine's wide-scale attack on the Crimean peninsula on Sunday targeted military and energy infrastructure. The strikes killed at least four people and wounded dozens. Authorities announced that fuel sales at all petrol stations on the peninsula were suspended.
The Ukrainian General Staff said successful hits were recorded on the Sevastopol naval port, the Saky air base and the Feodosia oil depots. Footage circulating on social media showed large plumes of smoke rising over the region. This is being assessed as one of the biggest attacks on Crimea in recent months.
Crimea remains the critical logistics base for Russia's four-year military offensive. Brent crude rose to $81.40 per barrel and discounted Urals crude climbed to $76. European natural gas futures gained 2.2 percent.
