Türkistan ready to host Turkic world leaders for informal summit
The informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States will convene in Türkistan, Kazakhstan, under the theme "Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development." Preparations are complete for the gathering hosted by President Tokayev of Kazakhstan.

The informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States will be held in Türkistan, Kazakhstan. Leaders of Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan are expected to attend a meeting convened under the theme "Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development." Hungary will participate as an observer.
The summit, hosted by Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, will address shared digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence standards and data-sharing protocols. Tokayev, who has overseen preparations, said the organisation should pursue technological capacity building alongside deeper economic integration among the member states.
Discussions will also cover transport corridors, Caspian energy projects and joint education initiatives. Bilateral talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan are expected to take place on the margins. A joint declaration outlining a roadmap for digital cooperation is planned to be issued at the close of the gathering.
