Ukraine has carried out two strikes in Russia's Volgograd and Vladimir regions. One of the targets was a weapons plant, and the other was a fuel hub.
According to Deutsche Welle, the attacks are part of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's strategy to bring the war to the Russian public and to force Russia toward peace talks. Kyiv says it is targeting Russia's war and energy infrastructure.
The strikes came as fighting along the front line continued. Hits on fuel and weapons facilities inside Russia are expected to strain Moscow's logistical capacity. Diplomatic efforts between the two sides have so far remained limited.
