Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang Joins Trump's Delegation to Beijing
The White House confirmed Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang was added to the Beijing business delegation at short notice. Semiconductor export curbs are expected to dominate the summit agenda.

The White House confirmed that Nvidia chief executive Jensen Huang was added to the Beijing business delegation at the last minute. According to CNBC, Donald Trump personally called Huang after the semiconductor file moved to the front of the agenda. The delegation previously listed Apple and Tesla executives; adding Huang signals that artificial intelligence chips will be on the table.
Washington has restricted Nvidia from selling its most advanced accelerators to China for more than a year. Beijing has retaliated with curbs on rare earths and gallium. Negotiators on both sides are expected to test the ground for easing restrictions, although several voices in Congress oppose any concession.
Nvidia shares rose modestly in after-hours trading. The company has previously reported that China accounts for roughly 10 percent of annual revenue. The Trump-Xi summit is expected to open on Thursday.
