Unrest spreads across United Kingdom after Belfast knife attack video circulates
Unrest that began after a knife attack video circulated in the Northern Irish capital Belfast has spread to other cities across the United Kingdom. Prime Minister Keir Starmer said there will be "no tolerance" for rioters.

PSNI Deputy Chief Constable Bobby Singleton said 47 officers were injured and 32 people arrested across three nights in Belfast. Incidents were also reported in Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham on Sunday evening.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer told reporters outside Downing Street: "Courts will move fast, investigations will go deep, sentences will deter; there will be no tolerance shown". Home Secretary Yvette Cooper announced a dedicated police coordination unit.
Northern Ireland First Minister Michelle O'Neill and Deputy First Minister Emma Little-Pengelly said in a joint statement: "Law and order must be the rule of our streets". Sterling fell 0.4% against the dollar to 1.2640. The Bank of England has not yet commented on potential financial impact.
