Anthropic set to close $30 billion funding round at over $900 billion valuation
Anthropic is close to completing a $30 billion funding round at a valuation above $900 billion. The round is being led by Lightspeed Venture Partners with Fidelity participating. The company's valuation has roughly tripled in the past six months.

AI company Anthropic is on the verge of closing a $30 billion funding round at a valuation above $900 billion, two sources close to the matter told Investing.com. The round is being led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, with Fidelity, Salesforce Ventures and existing shareholder Google Cloud among the participants. The deal is expected to be finalised this weekend.
The valuation marks roughly a threefold increase from the $320 billion at the previous funding round in November 2025. According to internal documents, Anthropic's annual recurring revenue (ARR) has reached $8 billion, with about 60% from Claude Code and Claude Enterprise subscription revenue. CFO Krishna Rao told an investor briefing the 2026 ARR target is $12-15 billion.
For comparison, OpenAI's latest market valuation stands at around $500 billion, while xAI closed its most recent round at about $200 billion. Wedbush analyst Dan Ives said Anthropic's valuation 'will permanently change the pricing of the enterprise AI market'. Independent advice should be sought before any investment decision.
